Card pack opening for character trait selection
Brief
I wanted to try my hand at recreating the excitement of a card pack opening, working it into a universe where tarot cards are used to let players choose their next skill point / trait. With Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing around the same time I started work on this, a western seemed the perfect setting to start building my card pack opening.

Designing thematicaly
i created the cards, taking inspiration froma six shooter revolver to create the card back pattern. Keeping these elements and using them in the design I feel has really brought to life the western setting whilst still maintinag the excitement of a card pack opening as the card reveals itself and glows in the centre of the screen.
